Position Summary:
The perfect candidate should be able to greet and serve customers well, work within a team and assist in showroom duties. Communicating with customers during and after visits, as well as provide exceptional customer service by assisting with furnishing houses by the appropriate measurements and sizes given.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Greets customer on sales floor.
• Customer service management. Provide customer service to all customers and assist them.
• Creating and entering new customers on the tablet.
• Creating sales quotations on the tablet
• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Following up with customers after their visit.
• Making sure the showroom is up to standards as well as completing the daily showroom checklist.
• Assist with the seasonal inventories.
• Implements displays for window and interior as directed by Visual Merchandising.
• Pricing the showroom. + Checking the missing items in the showroom + ordering new items.
• Order barcodes for accessories.
• Suggests furniture size, period style, color, fabric, and wood that will complement customer's home and other furnishings. & Discuss size and measurements for the customer, as well as taking sizes for specific items in front of the customer.
• Unrolls bolts of curtains and carpets to display assortment of fabrics to customer
• Close deals with customers and walk them out to the door.
• Communicates for delivery of items to customer.
• Check the condition of the items before delivering it to the customers.
• Training new team, along with following up with their induction + orientation.
• Abide by Company internal rules as well as team spirit.
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Continuously improve through customer feedback
• Meets pre-set monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Reports based on management needs and requests.
Education:
• Diploma or BA degree.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent selling and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to gain immediate credibility with customers
• High sense of proper customer service standards
• Analytical and Meeting targets abilities
• Knowledge of the furniture business
