We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with experience in land and sea freight operations to manage import and export shipments, coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs clearing agents, and ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant cargo movement from origin to destination.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate land and sea freight shipments from origin to final destination.Arrange transportation with approved transporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents.Coordinate import and export shipments and ensure timely movement of cargo.Prepare and verify logistics and shipping documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Delivery Order, COO, and customs documents.Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal teams and customers.Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders for vessel bookings, documentation, container movement, and delivery.Coordinate with transporters for truck availability, pickup, delivery, and POD collection.Follow up on customs clearance and ensure required documents and permits are available.Monitor shipment schedules, ETD/ETA, delays, and delivery timelines.Maintain accurate shipment records and update logistics tracking systems/ERP.Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.Obtain and compare freight quotations and support cost-effective transportation arrangements.Verify freight and logistics invoices against agreed rates and shipment details.Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and operational challenges in coordination with relevant parties.Maintain proper filing of shipment and customs documentation.Ensure all logistics activities comply with company procedures and applicable customs, transport, and safety requirements. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination, preferably covering land and sea freight, import/export operations, and customs clearance.Good communication, problem-solving, cost-control, and shipment-tracking skillsProficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems Preferred (optional)Professional certification in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain (e.g., CILT, FIATA Diploma, or equivalent).Working knowledge of GCC / UAE customs procedures and documentation.Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or gases/chemicals environment, including handling of dangerous goods (IMDG/ADR awareness).
