Senior PCS 7 Engineer – Industrial Automation



Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Type: Full-Time Contract – 24 Months (Extendable)

Working Days: Saturday to Thursday (6 Days/Week)

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Including 1-Hour Lunch Break)

Salary: QAR 18,000.00 All inclusive package

We are looking for an experienced Senior Siemens PCS 7 Engineer to join our client's team in Doha, Qatar.



The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Siemens PCS 7 engineering, programming, troubleshooting, FAT/SAT, and site commissioning. The role requires the ability to manage projects independently, resolve technical issues, and guide junior engineers.



Key Responsibilities



• Design, configure, program, test, and commission Siemens PCS 7 systems.



• Develop CFC/SFC logic, interlocks, sequences, HMI graphics, alarms, and trends.



• Configure PCS 7 Engineering Stations, Operator Stations, and redundant systems.



• Perform WinCC engineering, scripting, and troubleshooting.



• Configure and integrate SIMATIC BATCH, Process Historian, and third-party systems.



• Execute FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site troubleshooting.



• Prepare technical documentation, system architectures, and test procedures.



• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project teams.



• Manage multiple projects and mentor junior engineers.



Required Skills & Experience



• Minimum 8 years of industrial automation experience, with substantial hands-on PCS 7 experience.



• Strong expertise in Siemens PCS 7 V9.0 or above, including CFC, SFC, AS/OS, and Advanced Process Library (APL).



• Advanced knowledge of Siemens WinCC, HMI/SCADA, alarms, graphics, and scripting.



• Experience with TIA Portal V16+ and Siemens S7 PLCs.



• Experience with SIMATIC BATCH, Process Historian, and Information Server.



• Knowledge of PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Modbus, OPC/OPC UA, and industrial networking.



• Experience with server architecture, redundancy, virtualization, and system integration.



• Proven experience in FAT, SAT, site commissioning, and troubleshooting.



• Ability to independently manage projects and communicate effectively with customers.



Qualifications



• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.



• Experience in water and wastewater, power, utilities, oil and gas, or similar industries preferred.



• Siemens PCS 7 / WinCC / TIA Portal certifications are an advantage.



• Valid Qatar ID and local availability preferred.



• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
