Broster Buchanan is seeking an experienced Workday Test Manager or interim Test Lead/Test Manager for a financial services and insurance client, working through a consulting-led delivery team alongside a major systems integrator.



Reporting to the Programme Director, you will own the integrated test strategy and plan, structure test governance and readiness, mobilise business UAT capacity, and provide independent challenge on test evidence, defect closure, and exit readiness.

The Workday programme spans core HR, recruitment, compensation, time tracking, absence, security and reporting, with further HR capabilities in a second phase.

We are looking for

• Strong test leadership across complex enterprise transformation programmes.

• Experience coordinating SIT, integration testing and business UAT across multiple delivery teams.

• Evidence of effective test governance, traceability, readiness controls and test-exit recommendations.

• Confidence managing senior stakeholders and constructively challenging a systems integrator.

• Relevant financial services or insurance experience; Workday or comparable HR transformation exposure is desirable. Workday specialism is not essential.

Working arrangements: Around three days per week in London is preferred. Reduced onsite attendance or remote working may be considered for the right candidate, subject to agreement. The role involves regular US collaboration and calls extending into UK evenings, so flexibility is essential.



The candidate rate is up to circa £800 per day, depending on experience and final terms. Inside IR35 status confirmed. Interviews are expected later this week, with a potential start as early as next week, subject to scheduling.
