Objective / Role OverviewWe are seeking a versatile, highly skilled Project Manager Civil / Fit-Out to oversee the planning, execution, and successful handover of major civil construction and high-end interior fit-out projects.This role requires robust technical knowledge, exceptional leadership ability, and extensive experience managing large-scale commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality works. The successful candidate must be organized, commercially astute, and capable of leading multidisciplinary teams while ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionLead all phases of civil construction and interior fit-out projects from initiation to final handover.Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, work breakdown structures, detailed schedules, and resource allocation.Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven delivery of projects in full alignment with contract documents and approved drawings.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, safety protocols, and quality compliance.Team & Stakeholder CoordinationSupervise, guide, and motivate multidisciplinary site teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and tradesmen.Ensure clear, proactive communication with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.Cost, Financial & Contract ManagementPrepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial progress reports.Monitor expenses, cost variances, and oversee quantity validation, invoicing, and final accounts.Review and manage subcontractor agreements, variations, claims, and Proposed Change Orders (PCOs/COs).Identify and manage project risks, implementing robust mitigation strategies when necessary.Compliance, Quality & SafetyEnsure all work is executed in strict compliance with project specifications, local building codes, and international standards.Enforce rigorous adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and company policies.Conduct thorough quality checks and review completed works to guarantee alignment with approved designs and technical requirements.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare regular daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, schedules, and project documentation.Submit accurate updates to senior management on project status, financial forecasts, and risk assessments.Maintain precise records of contracts, drawings, correspondence, and technical submittals.Education, Experience, and SkillsEducation- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 10–20 years of proven professional construction experience, with substantial tenure as a Project Manager in civil construction and interior fit-out.Extensive experience in large-scale commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality projects.Strong background in GCC / Middle East construction practices and operating procedures.Main Contractor background preferred.CertificationsPMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.UPDA / MMUP Certification is a strong advantage.Valid driving license is a plus.Technical SkillsDeep expertise in project planning, Primavera/MS Project scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and site supervision.Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, BOQs, contract procedures, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.Advanced proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and construction software.Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic speaking is an advantage.Professional AttributesDetail-oriented, dynamic, flexible, and results-driven.Independent, self-motivated, and capable of making sound decisions under pressure.Adaptable, professional, and capable of representing the company confidently at senior levels.Strong work ethic, discipline, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.Preferred Nationalities- Open to all nationalities (international exposure preferred).PersonaGender: Male or Female.Age Requirement: Below 35 years old.Mandatory Experience: 10+ years total construction experience, with a minimum of 8 years managing civil and interior fit-out projects in Gulf countries.Fit-Out Expertise: Strong background in commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality interior fit-out and civil works.Design & Execution Profile: Technically rigorous, commercially astute, and operationally hands-on.Location Preference: Candidates currently based in Qatar, UAE, or available for relocation. .
